Committes and Projects

Oyster Creek in Sugar Land, Texas BPA has designated a number of committees focused on specific issues relating to streams and bayous in the greater Houston area or to particular BPA activities. Specific-focus committees include Paddle Trails, Mapping, Water Quality, Policy, Newsletter and Gala. In addition, the Projects Committee oversees a myriad of other activities.

The Paddle Trails Committee has updated and enhanced its Paddle Trails Guide.

The Mapping Committee has expanded its watershed mapping application to cover additional counties and added new data and hyperlinked geospatial data layers.

Information on impaired streams and fecal coliform levels is also updated regularly by the Water Quality Committee.
