Houston Women in the Environment
As part of its biennial conference, Houston Women: Agitating, Educating, Advocating, Houston History Alliance (HHA) has coordinated programs by compatible organizations to celebrate and tell the diverse stories of Houston’s trailblazing women. The programs, under the mantle of Tales of Houston Women, share the accomplishments – past, present and future – of women in the cultural arts, education, politics, business, law, science, and more who put their indelible mark on the city of Houston. The conference is on October 6, and the Tales of Houston Women programs begin in mid-September and run through mid-November. For program details visit www.talesofhoustonwomen.org
Bayou Preservation Association is proud to collaborate with Buffalo Bayou Partnership, Citizens’ Environmental Coalition, Houston Audubon Society, Katy Prairie Conservancy, and Memorial Park Conservancy to present Houston Women in the Environment as part of HHA's programming.
