About The Event

Empower yourself and your community this summer with Bayou Preservation Association's Resiliency at Home: A Series of Climate-Smart Workshops! Through a series of informative sessions held on the third Saturday of June, July, and August, you'll gain the knowledge and skills to implement nature-based solutions that benefit your neighborhood and Houston's vital bayou systems.

Each workshop will cover a different topic related to green stormwater infrastructure, water management, and environmental sustainability. And the best part? Although the focus will be on sharing information, limited take-home kits will be available at no cost while supplies last so you can put your new skills into practice.

Rainwater Harvesting Workshop - August 17th

Harness the power of rainwater! Join us for our last Resiliency at Home Workshop focused on rainwater harvesting. Discover the importance of water conservation and learn how to capture rainwater to reduce runoff and support healthy bayous. Let's work together to conserve water and build resilience in our community.
